The moderators and I got together and decided that Esoteric Recordings needed to have their own section on the forum!

As you can see going through the threads, there's a lot of releases that they have graced us with in the last 10 years, and it looks like they will grace us with more in the future!

Whenever new titles are announced from the label, the threads will go in this section.

I will also compile (in this post) a listing of all of the poll threads for Esoteric releases.

Mark and Vicki Powell at Esoteric do a fantastic job polishing up and re-releasing a large number of classic rock and prog titles. The stereo only releases of theirs I’ve purchased all feature nice non-brick walled mastering.

I have purchased and received, Jack Bruce-Smiles & Grins Broadcast Sessions 1970-2001 from AMAZON US

All stereo. 4 CD's and two Blu Ray Videos.
The good news is the CD's do not repeat on the Blu Rays except for 24 November 1970, unless I made a mistake in my reading.
The standout for me on this stereo release is the artists, Mick Taylor, Tony Hymas, John McLaughlin, Billy Cobham, Simon Phillips, Tony Williams, to name a few.
The two Blu Ray videos look great. There is a lot to digest here, but I think worth the time.
Liner notes with musician list are perfect so you never get lost.
